BSNL Reduces the Validity of STV 485 and STV 429 Plans, But How Much?

BSNL is the only network run by the central government and is a tough competitor for the other telecom companies and BSNL is taking some major steps to make it popular. Though they are not providing 4G network but their 3G offers are recommendable. But are they reducing their validity? Yes, they are reducing the validity of two of its most popular STV 485 and STV 429 plans which are quite popular among users.

Both plans were valid for 84 days previously but now due to the change, the operator has brought new validity for these two plans and now they are valid for 71 days and 74 days respectively.

According to a press report, BSNL has claimed that the changes they made will be effective from January 4, 2018, in circles where the company is offering both the plans. Well, you should know that BSNL is offer plans distinctly. Their plan is not available for every district. These plans are popular in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, etc.

Let’s see STV 485 and STV 429 Plans Benefits

BSNL’s Rs. 429 plan is giving you 1GB data per day, unlimited local & STD calls for 84 days. But this plan doesn’t offer any free roaming calls and SMS. They will charge the same standard rates. But after the change, the plans will come with a validity of 71 days.

The Plan Rs. 485 from BSNL offers the same 1GB data per day, unlimited local & STD calls voice calls, but the unlimited calls include roaming calls as well, except for Mumbai and Delhi location. The Plan Rs. 485 doesn’t offer any SMS benefits like the Plan 429.

Prior to 4 December last year, they were offering the validity of the plan for 90 days. But after that, that reduced it to 84 days, and now they are reducing the validity once again. The same step taken by Jio and they had increased their tariff plans. While others are increasing their validity and bring more and more offers, BSNL is reducing their validity offers.

A couple of days before, the government had owned PSU to revised the broadband night free voice calling from 9 PM – 7 AM to 10:30 PM – 6 AM.
