Reliance Jio Effect: Airtel 4G Hotspot Now at Rs 999, To Counter JioFi


Airtel is trying to beat Jio in every possible way. Now its turn of the Hotspot facility brought by Airtel. Earlier, it was too expensive to buy but as Jio is giving WiFi at just Rs. 999, so Airtel has cut down the price up to 50%, which means you can buy it with Rs. 999 only.

They have cut the price recently, for its 4G Hotspot to Rs. 999 but this was available but in some areas like Kerala. Now, the price is applicable to other circles as well officially.

The Airtel 4G Hotspot is produced by Huawei with a 1500 mAh battery. Like the JioFi, the Airtel 4G Hotspot is also locked to the Airtel network, but now that Airtel offers 1GB per day plans for their WiFi connection to all its users across India to compete with Jio.

This 4G Hotspot can be purchased from Airtel retail stores in India. You can purchase it also from Amazon India.
